These are the suggested list of proverbs, idioms and similes that you may use in your essay. Read and understand the meaning before applying it in your essay. This list is related to the theme. Make sure the selected proverbs, idioms or similes are correct and appropriate in context.

Proverbs:

1. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy – Everyone needs to take a break once in a while

2. An apple a day keeps the doctor away – Apples are good for health
